Volunteers enjoyed some Spring sunshine while helping tidy Henbury Millennium Green for the year ahead.
Work involved:
A further task involved using a high-strength magnet to trawl the patch of grass used for November’s bonfire. This was to remove metal left behind from pallets used in the bonfire’s construction. This patch of grass will remain cordoned off to allow the grass to regrow over the spring and summer.
The next volunteer tidy-up is at 10am on Sunday 19 April. If you would like to help out, just turn up with some suitable footwear and gloves.
All are welcome. We can’t guarantee the weather, but we can guarantee a warm welcome and sense of community spirit!
