This website is sponsored and managed by the Henbury Society, with financial support from Henbury Parish Council.
Our aim is to provide up to date information about local news and events as well as a directory of local groups, businesses and services.
We would be delighted to hear from you if you have some local news, are planning an event or if you have some photos of our village that you would like to share.
If you represent a local group, organisation or business we will gladly list you in our directory with contact details and web links. This service is free of charge.
The original village website was set up some years ago, and has been run by volunteers ever since. In 2016 it was felt that the original website had become outdated, and via a collaboration with the Parish Council, funding was raised to allow a group of volunteers to work with ThenMedia to develop a new website on a more robust and user-friendly platform. The current website represents a more sustainable way of maintaining this valuable community service into the future.
In doing this we have benefitted from the help and advice of John Gunstone and his team at ThenMedia who have developed real expertise in designing effective community websites. We also received great encouragement and inspiration from visiting the Audlem Village website team.
We hope you will find the site easy to navigate, and that the content is interesting and useful. Our purpose is to help everyone in the area to find out what's going on and how to find and use local businesses and services. For those considering moving to Henbury or just visiting, we hope the website will give you a flavour of what you will find in our community.
