NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, surfacing works
Prohibition of traffic-
Chester Road, Macclesfield
From Ivy Road Roundabout to Cumberland Street Roundabout
The alternative route will be via Chester Road, Broken Cross, Broken Cross Roundabout, Chelford Road, Congleton Road, Manchester Road, Macclesfield Road, Park Lane, Park Lane Roundabout, Park Street, Mill Lane, The Silk Road, Hibel Road, Churchill Way Roundabout, Cumberland Street, Sainsburys Roundabout, Cumberland Street Roundabout and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 05th October 2020 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Monday 12th October 2020.
