Cheshire East Highways has instructed the Millennium Green Trust to fell this partially dead Lime tree as soon as possible, to remove any potential threat to highway users.
It is located in the hedge, part – way between the Green gate and Pepper Street.
To comply with the CEC instructions the MG Trust has engaged suitably qualified tree surgeons to fell the tree safely on Saturday March 15th .
They will do their best to maintain access along Church Lane but there may be some short delays and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Later in the year we'll consider replacing it with another young tree to maintain the established sequence of trees in the hedgerow.
With kind regards
Your Henbury Millennium Green Trustees.
