Macclesfield 2016 Christmas Lights Switch On

The 2016 Macclesfield Christmas Lights Switch On will be held on Saturday 26th November from 1.30pm. This years event will feature stalls, live entertainment (from 1:30 to 6pm), free face painting, fairground rides, local choirs, brass bands, musicians and lots more!

You'll also find food, drink, festive gift ideas and mulled wine from the Christmas Market on Market Place around the Christmas Tree and a large Christmas Crafts Extravaganza in the Town Hall.

Street entertainers will be roaming the town centre and there will also be activities for the kids. The light switch on will be at 4.30pm followed by fire works to complete the event.
