Could You Find an Hour or Two to Give Us a Hand Please?

It's that time of the year again when we need to thin and coppice the woodland on the Millennium Green to keep it in good health and at the same time provide enough wood for the Annual Bonfire and Firework Display that has become such an essential part of the Henbury calendar.

We'll be working between 10 and 12.30 on Saturday October 14th and the main task will be to drag branches from the cutting site to the bonfire site. Not too difficult when there are lots of us to help!

So if you could spare some time to help we'd be very grateful. Just turn up , or if you can, give Roger Cousin a call on 01625 610059.

It will be a bit muddy underfoot so it's a good idea to wear stout footwear and a pair of gardening gloves will help to protect your hands.

Thanks in advance and we look forward to seeing you on the 14th.
