Well Done the Green Team
Our thanks to the team that did a few jobs on Sunday morning to tidy up the Green now that summer has arrived and everyone wants to go there to enjoy themselves.
The brambles and weeds in the gateway were cleared.
The gate and fence were treated with a wood preservative to keep them in good condition.
And the long grass around the edge of the Trim Trail on the play area was scythed to a reasonable length.
Just a few volunteers and a couple of hours makes such a difference in how pleasant the place looks!
There's lots of small jobs like this needed to keep our Green in good shape.
