Why is the road closed?

The closure is required to allow United Utilities to carry out essential works.

Diversion Route

Traffic will be diverted via:

Chelford Road → Church Lane → Congleton Road → Pexhill Road → Gawsworth Road

Access Arrangements
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Cyclists are required to dismount when passing through the closure
Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained wherever possible
