Bonfire Night a Big Success!

Hundreds of people of all ages enjoyed the Henbury Bonfire and Fireworks last night, and it has raised much-needed funds to maintain the Millennium Green next year. People commented on how well-organised and friendly the whole event was.

The trustees of the Millennium Green issued a heartfelt thanks to all involved...

"Thank you to everyone who came to our bonfire and fireworks event this evening — we hope you had a great time. Thanks especially to all our volunteers — the event organizers, those who set everything up, the people on the gate, the bonfire managers, the firework coordinators, the drinks team, the marshals, the tractor drivers and those who tidied up again afterwards (and anyone else I've missed — it's been a long day). Without all you volunteers the event would not have happened and the funds to maintain the Green for the next year would not have been raised."
