NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, replace gas main

Prohibition of traffic-

Birtles Road, Macclesfield

From the junction with Whirley Road to the junction with Redruth Avenue

The alternative route will be via Whirley Road, Chelford Road, Broken Cross Roundabout, Fallibroome Road, Priory Lane, Birtles Road and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 02nd November 2020 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 11th December 2020.
