Did you see lots of Scouts and Guides with rucksacks walking through the village this morning and wonder what they were up to?
They were taking part in the Cheshire Hike – a challenging yet rewarding, two day expedition completed in parties of 2- 5 people, open to Scouts, Guides, Explorers and Senior Section.
Organised by Cheshire Scouts it's a great adventure for many, many young people from all over the County. There's lots of information about this year's Hike HERE.
Their route in Henbury village today took them up Pepper Street and along Church Lane to a checkpoint on the Green where they could take a break and top up their water bottles before heading off to Henbury Rise towards the Moss Cottages and onwards to their final destination.
We hope they all enjoyed the time spent in our neck of the woods a successful weekend adventure .
