One of our local residents has spotted an unusual sight recently......
"I was delighted to see a beautiful barn owl twice in the last week. It was hunting in the field behind my house at the top of Henbury Rise. What a lovely sight! The first time was as daylight was breaking, and the second was just before darkness fell. I have been watching an owl in the field for many years now and although it can't possibly be the same one, I always call it Ollie! Very original! "
