#Any Help You Can Give Will Be Gratefully Appreciated

As you know the the Charitable Trust , which owns and runs the Millennium Green, has been forced to cancel its major fundraising event, the Bonfire & Fireworks, this year due to Covid-19. Whilst reserve funds and generous support from some local residents plus the Henbury Parish Council means we have been able to keep the Green open for visitors all year except for lockdown, the Trust's expenditure in Financial Year 2020-21 will significantly exceed its income with no prospect of running another fundraising event such as the Bonfire & Fireworks in the foreseeable future. Yet merely to keep the Green open and safe, basic annual maintenance costs at least £1500 before any improvements are considered.

The Trust has therefore decided to appeal to all who use and value the Green and its children's play area to make what ever contribution they can towards the cost of keeping it open for everyone's enjoyment. Here's one way you can help at no cost to you!

Amazon Smile
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon that lets customers enjoy the same wide selection of products, low prices, and convenient shopping features as on amazon.co.uk. The difference is that when customers shop through the URL smile.amazon.co.uk, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases to the charitable organisations selected by customers. DETAILS HERE

The Trust has registered in the name of Henbury Millennium Green Trust so when you log into smile.amazon.co.uk with your Amazon Account username & password you can select Henbury Millennium Green Trust to receive a charitable donation from Amazon and there will be no cost to you. The donation is very small of course but nearly everybody buys from Amazon these days so " every little helps" as they say.

Your support will be greatly appreciated.
