The closure of Church Lane, Henbury – from its junction with Chelford Road to its junction with Henbury Rise is necessary to allow Cheshire East Highways to undertake essential CCTV survey and jetting works to the highway network.

A clearly signed diversion route will be in place via Chelford Road, Church Lane, and Pepper Street.

Every effort will be made to minimise disruption. Pedestrian access to properties within the closure will be maintained at all times. Cyclists will be required to dismount to pass safely through the works area. Vehicular access will be maintained for emergency services and residents wherever reasonably practicable.

The works are scheduled to take place on 8 July 2026.

This notice will come into effect on 8 July 2026 and will remain in force for up to five days, or until the works are completed, whichever is sooner.
