The Henbury Parish Council Environmental Project is again gearing up for more native hedgerow planting this winter and we need volunteers to come and help!
Since the project started we’ve planted nearly
5km of new hedgerow and more than 2000 trees across the Parish.
On Sunday, March 8th, the next section of new hedgerow will be added, continuing to link up valuable habitats. And ,as always, all planting will be done by volunteers – so it’s a great chance to get involved and practice planting skills in the knowledge that the resulting hedgerow will offer huge biodiversity benefits while improving the
landscape.
We’ll be starting from 9-30 am and continuing until done – probably mid-afternoon.
Our base will be Henbury Lodge, SK11 9LA, where parking ia available.
Please contact Simon if you would be interested in helping.
