We're sorry this comes when it's only just opened again but it really is essential work. During torrential rain water flows off Church Lane, through the gateway and down to the bridge seriously eroding the footpath on the way . This new drain will prevent that erosion by catching that water in the gateway and diverting away from the footpath into the low area under the bridge .
