We know that, all over Britain, there were big plans to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the end of the war in Europe on Friday May 8th. But the awful Covid-19 crisis means we simply can't gather together in large numbers.
However, we're hearing that some Henbury residents are thinking of brightening the lockdown gloom by decorating the house with red, white and blue and having a picnic in the front garden so they can be in touch with neighbours WHILST KEEPING AT LEAST 2 METRES SOCIAL DISTANCING. !!

So why not phone the neighbours and salute those who put their lives on the line for us all more than seven decades ago in the war, and those who are doing it for us now in the NHS.
