It's the time of year to plan the next phase of the Henbury Parish Council environmental project.
We'll be back to Marlheath Farm to continue the hedge planting there, building on our previous efforts and continuing to link up valuable habitats.
This has been so successful that there is a strong chance ,our hedges will be used in a future National Hedgelaying Association competition, based on recent discussions!!
The maturing hedge in the picture may well be part of this – having been planted 10 years ago and looking very healthy indeed.
This year we are hoping to have at least half the costs covered by grant funding – with an application currently proceeding with the Mersey Forest Project.
We'll be planting on Sunday March 3rd, starting at 9-30am
Please do share with anybody else that may be interested, local families etc.
If you think you may be able to join us please let me know and I will provide more information.
