Eaton Parish Council no longer have a use for their speed radar gun because they now have average speed cameras in place. This has been offered to Henbury Parish Council and Henbury Society to use within the village.Volunteers are needed to operate the speed camera. Volunteers will need to be fully trained and be able to give a regular amount of time to the community speed watch group. The checks take place for short periods of time at different times of the day to deter speeders. This has proved to be successful on many roads subject to speeding motorists.
