Henbury Parish council continue to work with others to get answers regarding the current issues around Broken Cross.

As residents will be aware, a Public Meeting was held on Friday to discuss the problems the works have caused.

For those who couldn't attend, a resident who was there has kindly minuted the meeting. See attached file.

Prior to the Town Hall meeting, a site visit was carried out, where it was discovered that the bus stop was being re-located from outside the paint shop to outside the petrol station. However officers had not realised 3 of the 4 routes turn left up Fallibroome Road, prior to the new stop location.

Following the meeting, Henbury Parish Council has written to all local councillors and the MP to ask for their next step..

HPC has also written to;

"Following your site visit to Broken Cross on Friday afternoon, what is your next course of action, as the cycling provision appears to fail to conform to the government's guidance in LTN1/20. We note the current cycle lanes are to be removed."

"In your role as Vice Chair of The Highways & Transport Committee, please can you advise on your next course of action following Friday's meeting? "

MP David Rutledge has also posted news regarding the meeting. You can read his views here:
