A Job Well Done on April 8th
Encouraged by a lovely sunny morning eight Henbury Society members collected loads of rubbish from the grass verges on Chelford Road, Church Lane and Andertons Lane and the three bus shelters as well as clearing leaves from the Chelford Road Church gateway and the car park. A magnificent Spring Clean for our lovely village! Our thanks to the eight volunteers , to ANSA for the loan of equipment and removal of the collected rubbish and to Trevor Newton for organising the clean up. We were also delighted to receive a letter of thanks from St Thomas' Church for clearing the car park. It would be great if a few more residents could come along to help next time so we can extend the clean up area further around the village.
