On August 14th Cheshire East Council Public Rights of Way closed a section of footpath Henbury 7 from Whirley Road to where it meets with FP12 at the Moss Cottages because the oak tree very near the kissing gate part-way between those two points had shed a limb and a further limb was hazzardous.
We are, rather belatedly, pleased to report that the landowner promptly cut down and removed all fallen limbs and the footpath was re opened on August 18th.
