St Thomas' Church in Henbury have two festive events coming up this weekend:
Members of the Entertainments Committee at St Thomas' Church are organising a Festive Coffee Morning on Saturday 8 December.
Doors open 10 am for 10.30 am. Tickets £3.50 to include a rum coffee and home made mince pies.
Stalls include raffle, tombola, cake stall and much more.
Then on Sunday 9 December at 11.00 a.m is the Christingle Service. This is a family service and all are welcome.
The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit during the service. Christingles are made from an orange decorated with red tape, sweets and a candle. Christingle raises vital funds to help children who are facing Christmas alone and are unable to cope.
