Data Protection Information for Members

What information do we collect about you

We collect personal information about you such as name, postal and E address and telephone number when you join or when you renew membership of the Society. We collect only the information from you that enables us to fulfil our contractual obligations to you which includes being able to contact you with subscription renewal and AGM notices.

How is your Information used

We use the information collected to allow us to contact you as a Member by post, telephone and email with information about the Society's activities. The preferred means of contacting you is from editor@henbury.org the E Mail system of the website Henbury Online (www.henbury.org) which is administered by the Henbury Society.

How will information about you protected.

Your information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and with the appropriate levels of security.
The Society will not share your information with any other organisations.

How long will information about you be kept.

Your information will be kept throughout your time as a member and for such reasonable time as may be needed up to a maximum of 1 year.

Individual Rights.

You have the right to request a copy of the information we hold about you. Please contact our Data Controller.
If you have consented to receive correspondence by any or all of the above means you can opt out at any time.

Changes to our Privacy Policy.

We review our Privacy Policy regularly. It was last reviewed in June 2018.
